Rafael Alvarez & The Tuerk House

Thank you Rafael Alvarez for organizing and hosting the 6th Highlandtown Literary Extravaganza--an excellent time was had by all!

 Be sure to read Rafael's new book "The Tuerk House" a chronicle of Baltimore's groundbreaking drug and alcohol rehab center that opened in 1970 after Maryland reclassified alcoholism from a criminal offense to a disease.
